Neova Insurance is committed to a sustainable future and has organized an art contest for children as part of its "Our Future's Insurance: Our Forests" project. The company has now announced the results of the competition, which focused on the theme of "the importance of forests" in celebration of World Environment Day on June 5.

As part of its "Our Future's Insurance: Our Forests" initiative, Neova Insurance, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Forestry, launched a tree planting campaign on March 25 in Bursa. The project began with planting 100,000 saplings in Balıkesir and Bursa, raising awareness about the importance of forests. To further emphasize this cause, Neova held an art contest for children. From March 25 to May 15, the contest collected applications through the website futureofinsurance.com. With over 1,000 submissions to review, the winners were selected by a jury led by İsmail Fidan, the Producer and Director of Rafadan Tayfa.

Sami Kaya, the Deputy General Manager of Digital Channels, Marketing, and Bancassurance at Neova Insurance, stated about the art contest: “At Neova Insurance, we are taking important steps toward a sustainable future for the world. In line with this, we developed a sustainable project focused on Terrestrial Life from the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Our project, 'Our Future's Insurance: Our Forests, ' aligns with the global goal of protecting, improving, and supporting the sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems. As part of the project, we led the planting of 40,000 saplings in Bursa and 60,000 saplings in Balıkesir. As a continuation of this project, we organized an art contest for children aged 8-12 to raise awareness about the importance of our forests nationwide. We are pleased with the great interest shown by children in this contest. I would like to thank the children, families, and teachers who encouraged them. We will continue our efforts for a sustainable future.”

The artwork created by children from across Turkey, each with unique styles and creativity, highlighted the importance of forests for our country and our future. According to the contest results, Esmira BUYRUK, the first-place winner, received a laptop as her prize. Ali Zeyd AKÇAY, who finished in second place, won a tablet, while Necati Yağız ÜRÜŞAN, who placed third, was awarded a bicycle.
